Playing with Gansai Watercolors

Hello Stampers!

I got into some on-line watercolor classes with the wonderful Isha Gupta and learned how to paint variegated backgrounds with my Gansai Tambi Watercolors {SO love them…bright and creamy!}.  That said, I painted the sky using that technique and then commenced to making my clouds by moving some of the paint around, thinning it with water, and sponging off areas that I wanted white.  Then I stamped the Background Silhouettes by Sweet’n’Sassy Stamps in Versafine black onyx ink and voila!  I was so please with this that I just had to pop it up onto a card!

Playing around with your watercolors is so much fun, but takes a lot of practice to get the desired results…no harm in playing all day, right?

I would love to see what you make with whatever watercolors you have on hand.

Hugs and keep smilin’

Sunshine Sharon
