Happy Saturday! Welcome to our next edition of “Masterpieces with Mimi.” Join us once a month as the talented Micheline “Mimi” Jourdainshares a beautiful card along with her creative process.


Today Mimi shares with us wonderful painting techniques which look beautiful when combined with our solid/silhouette floral stamps such as 30-281 Flower Sparks.



MATERIALS NEEDED: Penny Black Stamps (3939K Queen Anne’s Lace, 30-281 Flower Sparks, 30-286 Heartfelt), VersaMark Ink, Clear Embossing Powder, Tim Holtz Distress Reinkers (Weathered Wood, Peeled Paint), Distress Ink Pad (Black Soot), White Acrylic Paint, Watercolor Paper (Fabriana, 100% Cotton, 140 Lbs, Hot Pressed)


STEP 1: Stamp and heat emboss using VersaMark Ink and clear embossing powder both Penny Black stamps: 3939K Queen Anne’s Lace and 30-286 Flower sparks 30-286 as shown on the card or where your inspiration dictates.
