Masking Technique

I made this card using the Masking Technique…

You Mean the World to Me

First, I took my design paper and trimmed it to the size I wanted.  Then I die cut a heart out of some masking paper and placed the negative piece on the dsp exactly where I wanted it.  Then, I stamped some leaves into the open area with SSS Khaki and Sparrow.  I slowly pulled off the masking paper and then stamped the sentiment from Penney Black’s Heartfelt sentiment stamp set.  I just love beautiful sentiments and they have them in such gorgeous scripts!  I attached the panel onto a white card base, then added a few clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

Let me know what you think…I love hearing from you.  I would love to see your masked creations as well!
