Making My Own 2015 Calendar – January 2015

Well, the calendar is on it’s last page and I decided instead of buying another, I would start making my own.  Here is January’s page below:

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

And here is a close-up of the Header:

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES I used a snowflake die, cutting 3 different papers with it, Basic Gray, Baja Breeze, and Silver Glimmer Paper.  I layered it where each one showed and placed a large rhinestone in the middle.  I cut out some letters out of the Basic Gray from MFT’s Die-namics By the Letters for the “Happy New Year” all in lower case.  Then I stamped the sweet image from My Favorite Things, but I forgot the name of the stamp {retired?}.  Anyway, I paper pieced the fireworks and her dress and colored her with my SU! Markers, Pink Pirouette and Regal Rose. The design papers for the base came out of the Winter set by SU!

Whaddya think?  This came together so quick and easy!  I think I’ll start February’s tomorrow.

Happy Stampin’ my friends,

Sunshine Sharon

Your calender is brilliant Sharon! I am so boring i just print one out from a free online site to keep track of my ‘card’ calender, maybe I should pimp mine up into something as gorgeous and personal as this. Thanks so much for the inspiration and all the blog love. Hugs x
