This is what a box of Sunshine looks like! 🙂 Just Stampin' Yesterday was my first day back at school and after a long day I came home to the most pleasant surprise! There was a box by my front … Continue reading
Look at all this awesomeness!
This past week has been a series of unfortunate events from my computer crashing to a trip to the ER with a head injury. On the upside, I am happy to report my new computer should be up and running later today and I am lucky to have a “thick skull”! I apologize for not posting the last of the fun folds yet; however, I hope to be back later today with a new fun fold card to share. Until then here’s some more of the fun fold designs I did in my ABC series. I have already received some cards in the mail for the fun fold card swap and let me say my first thought has been, “I wish I could keep these!” There is still time to participate so I hope you will create a fun fold card and get it in the mail this week. What a gorgeous creation Taheera has for us from The Ton!
Hi everyone, Happy Wednesday! It’s Taheerah and I’m so happy to be joining you again this month as The Ton’s Guest Designer! I’ve been having a ball so far!
The Ton does flower designs like nobody else. There’s always something different or unique about them that sets them apart. The Dahlia Close-Up Cling Background stamp is a perfect example and I couldn’t wait to ink it up:
With a design like this you really want to let it do all the talking. So I heat embossed the dahlia background with copper embossing powder (for a touch of on-trend), and then watercoloured it with Zig Markers.
With such a striking background, you don’t want the sentiment to distract too much, so I opted for one of the quotes from the Timeless Icons Sentiment stamp set. The subtle look of the sentiments matched the elegance of the design perfectly.

I giggle every time I see Therese making these ca-ute wobble cards. Check out these sweet little hedgehogs!!
Today at Scrapbook Boutique I wanted to share with you one of the easiest ways that I find to ‘line up’ images. and there is lots of cuteness with some great MFT stamps and also a little bit of ‘action’ too! I decided to film as I created.
You can see my video here or Watch it in HD at Youtube.
You can find the links for these products below or head on over to Scrapbook Boutique, where there are new goodies being added to the store all the time. Look forward to seeing you again real soon!

OMGosh, what stunning Altenew cards Therese has whipped up for us!!! I am totally in awe of that Lighthouse one!
I’m so excited to be taking part in Altenew’s 2017 January release and blog hop, and if you arrived here from Jennifer McGuire’s blog then you are exactly where you need to be. Today we will be releasing 18 stamp sets, 18 die sets and 12 inks!
Today I have made three quite different cards from this amazing release starting with this sympathy card using the Be a Lighthouse stamp set. It’s hard to tell, but I’ve popped up the whole front panel so it looks like the Dark Gray cardstock is inset.
My second card is a little more modern, using the fab silhouette girl and matching die from Let the Wind Carry You. I’m still trying to work out if she’s holding a torch or a paintbrush… so I’ll let you decide. I also used some of the new colours from the release, bright greens, oranges and cool grays…

I adore Therese’s ca-ute Christmas cards! I especially love the one with the mouse & little birdie!
Today is all about cute critters on a Chrissy card, and of course they are from Penny Black Deck the Halls. These were published in the Australian Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft magazine and I was lucky to make the cover with this cute little mouse!
Are you nearly ready yet? Christmas is only just round the corner…. do you have any major plans or is going to be a quiet one for you this year? I’m working but will be home in the evening, so looking forward to a ‘tapas’ style Christmas feast with a little champagne on the side…

Such an adorable image! And I really LOVE your smooshed background, Therese!
Today I felt like ‘smooshing’ it’s been a while, but I thought it would be fun to play with some analogous colours and of course add a sweet fairy from Penny Black. I decided to film this card.
You can see the video below or Watch it in HD at Youtube.
So excited to be finally working on the Chrissy stash, and of course you know I’ve got to make some extras this year for the Caring Hearts Drive and you can join in too, here are the deets for Australia!.
